It was glorious weather for the Grove tournament at DISC in Dundee this weekend. The hockey was pretty special too, with five Kinross teams taking part - two at U10, two at U12 and one at U14 (although we could probably have stretched to two teams there as well had we realised how many players were going to want to play on the day).
This was very impressive in terms of results with most teams clocking up an almost uninterrupted series of wins. Only our youngest team found the going tougher - no surprise when they were up against players of much greater experience. They all did us proud, though, with some battling performances.
Across the board, it was high quality hockey, with the Kinross teams distinguishing themselves with good team performances.
